About the Role

LaserAway is seeking an Internal Communications Manager who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments and knows how to bring clarity where things are evolving. This role is for a resilient, savvy communicator who can operate confidently amid ambiguity, shifting priorities, and imperfect inputs—while still delivering thoughtful, credible, and engaging communications.

You’ll own the strategy and execution of internal communications across a nationwide organization, connecting clinic teams and corporate partners through messaging that informs, aligns, and drives action. Success in this role requires strong judgment, executive presence, and the ability to influence without authority in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

You’ll partner closely with leaders across HR, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition to ensure internal communications support business priorities, reinforce culture, and help teams stay aligned during moments of growth and change.

What You’ll Do

Internal Communications Strategy

  • Design and execute an internal communications strategy that supports LaserAway’s business priorities, growth, and values.
  • Partner with executive and functional leaders to develop communication plans for major initiatives, organizational updates, and change efforts.
  • Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and brand-aligned across all internal channels, including The Pulse intranet, newsletters, leadership communications, and company-wide campaigns.
  • Navigate evolving direction, competing priorities, and last-minute requests with sound judgment and credibility.

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Write and edit compelling internal content, including leadership announcements, organizational updates, employee stories, and culture-focused features.
  • Own and curate content for The Pulse 2.0, ensuring it remains relevant, engaging, and useful for teams across the organization.
  • Translate complex or sensitive topics into clear, accessible messaging that resonates with diverse audiences.

Engagement & Culture

  • Build and execute internal campaigns that support recognition, training initiatives, leadership programs, and company milestones.
  • Support leadership events and meetings with messaging, presentations, and follow-up communications.
  • Leverage feedback and engagement data to continuously improve communication effectiveness.

Execution & Operational Excellence

  • Build communication frameworks, templates, and processes from scratch to bring structure to a reactive environment.
  • Manage multiple cross-functional communication projects simultaneously, from planning through execution.
  • Serve as a steady, trusted communications partner during periods of organizational change or complexity.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal or corporate communications; experience in multi-location, healthcare, or retail environments is a plus.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling messages.
  • Strong executive presence and organizational savvy; comfortable navigating competing perspectives and influencing without formal authority.
  • Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, imperfect, or evolving environments.
  • A builder mindset—you’re comfortable creating structure, processes, and clarity where little exists.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a collaborative working style.
