Aesthetic Clinical Trainer - Nurse Practitioner - PNW - Full TIme

Job Title: Aesthetic Clinical Field Trainer - Pacific Northwest - Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:

The Field Clinical Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring the proficiency and excellence of our clinical staff nationwide. This individual will report into the VP of Clinical Training and be responsible for implementing and delivering comprehensive training programs that align with LaserAway's standards and protocols. The Field Clinical Trainer will work closely with clinical teams, location director and patient care coordinators across various locations to travel, treat and train throughout their designated area.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (Flexibility needed)

Travel required:

All PNW locations but not limited to: Seattle, Kirkland, Tacoma, Portland, Beaverton, Tigard

HOME BASE: Washington - Seattle/Kirkland

Hourly rate range is from $65-$75/hr (depending on experience) and a weekend differential of $5/hr for shifts on Saturdays and Sundays

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Travel to sites for new hire training, advanced trainings, and provide support following clinic grand openings.

  • Assist with building training schedules and booking model appointments

  • Provide hands-on training and coaching to clinical staff on the safe and effective use of laser technology and aesthetic procedures.

  • Able to navigate and teach employees how to navigate all platforms, including (but not limited to) LMS, ADP, Deputy, PULSE 2.0

  • Recognizing and reporting to Clinical Training Team when clinicians need additional training

  • Knowledgeable of LABeauty and able to pair products with treatments

  • Add to new store openings to assist with advanced trainings (week 2-3 (Thermage/Neuromods), and 1-2 months post opening (Filler))

  • Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously enhance training curriculum and materials.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on LaserAway's products, procedures, and protocols, offering guidance and support to clinical teams as needed.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the clinical organization, promoting engagement and skill enhancement among team members.

  • Collaborate and partner with LDs and Regional Sales Directors on staff improvement. Executes improvement plans in a timely manner

  • Observe treatments for current clinicians and provide immediate feedback when necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Nursing required .

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinical training preferred. Preferably in the medical aesthetics or healthcare industry.

  • Current licensure or certification as a Nurse Practitioner on Washington and Oregon

  • Proven expertise in laser technology and aesthetic procedures, with experience in performing and training on laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and body contouring treatments.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clinical staff at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate training needs across multiple locations. Travel of 50% or more is expected.

  • Passion for education, training, and professional development, with a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Proficient eye-hand-foot coordination when operating aesthetic devices and administering injectables.

  • Ability to perceive and differentiate colors effectively.

  • Capable of bending, sitting, standing, and walking without assistance.

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for approximately 50% of the time, which may involve sitting or standing.

  • Can hold laser and device handpieces weighing up to 1.5 pounds for extended periods of 90 minutes or more.

  • Can lift equipment up to 8 pounds

  • Primarily works in air-conditioned treatment rooms where occasional beeping noises may be present.

  • Comfortable wearing protective eyewear (glasses) for prolonged periods and tolerating flashing lights.

  • Frequently moves devices on wheels across short distances within treatment rooms, requiring a pushing and pulling force of up to 35 pounds.
